6 L Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), Visual and Audible Alarm
A 300 bar compressed-air breathing set with a low-pressure alarm, built for firefighting, rescue and confined-space work.
Description
Provides an independent, dependable air supply in smoke, toxic gas or oxygen-deficient atmospheres. A core part of a ship's firefighting equipment, designed in line with SOLAS requirements. The carbon fibre composite cylinder holds air at 300 bar and gives 45 to 60 minutes of use at a normal breathing rate of 40 litres per minute. When the pressure drops to 50-60 bar, an alarm of at least 85 dBA at one metre warns the wearer in good time. The silicone full face mask covers the eyes, nose, mouth and chin. Its polycarbonate visor resists scratches, impact and heat, and a built-in speech diaphragm keeps communication clear. The positive-pressure demand valve opens with the first breath and fits with a quick connector. The light, high-strength back plate balances the load and is non-flammable, anti-static and non-conductive. The set comprises back plate, harness, cylinder connector, regulator, pressure gauge, alarm whistle and demand valve. A digital pressure gauge, a communication mask and an adjustable back plate are available as options.
