Embarkation Ladder
A MED-approved rope embarkation ladder for safe transfer from a ship to liferafts, lifeboats or other craft.
Description
Used for the safe transfer of crew and passengers from a ship to liferafts, lifeboats or other craft. Designed in line with SOLAS requirements. Two side ropes run continuously from top to bottom on each side and every step is secured to them individually. Each side rope has a breaking strength of at least 24 kN. The steps are hardwood (lauan), while the four lowest steps are rubber to withstand contact with the water and the hull. Available in different lengths to suit the freeboard.
