Immersion Suit
An immersion suit with inherent insulation and integrated gloves and boots, protecting against cold water when abandoning ship.
Description
Reduces body heat loss when abandoning ship or falling into cold water, protecting the wearer against hypothermia. Its inherently insulating material needs no extra insulation layer, and it is designed to be worn together with a lifejacket. It goes on quickly over normal clothing, and integrated gloves and boots mean no extra equipment is needed. A waterproof front zip and a face flap reduce water ingress and spray. High-visibility red fabric and reflective tape help search and rescue teams find the wearer. The adult size fits a height of up to 1900 mm. Donning instructions are printed on the chest.
