Pilot Ladder
A MED-approved pilot ladder with hardwood steps for the safe boarding and disembarking of pilots.
Description
Used by pilots to transfer safely between the pilot boat and the ship. Manufactured and tested in line with SOLAS, IMO and ISO requirements. Non-slip hardwood (lauan) steps are secured to strong manila side ropes, and the bottom steps are rubber. The materials resist salt water, UV and changing temperatures. Available in various lengths to suit different freeboards.
